It is not complicated to do individual remittances in New Zealand but there are a few things you will need to prepare.
For a New Zealand client, you will need:
Plan 1: register form, passport, proof of residency (bank statement, electricity bill, water bill, tax form, telecom bill)
Plan 2: register form, both sides of driver’s licence, credit card or debit card with client’s name printed, proof of residency (bank statement, electricity bill, water bill, tax form, telecom bill)
For a Chinese client:
- Registration form
- Passport
- ID card
- Proof of Residency
(notarised translation or with bank stamp)
For an Australian client or a client from another area:
- Registration form
- Passport
- Visa
- Proof of Residency
You will also need to provide the payee’s information:
For a client from China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia:
Payee’s name and bank name, bank address, bank branch, telephone number and purpose of remittance
For a client from Europe, UK, America, Australia, New Zealand and other countries:
Payee’s name and bank name, bank address, bank branch, bank SWIFT code, bank identification number, purpose of remittance and invoice, if the remit money is to an enterprise
